He was instrumental in the sale of an automation integrator to a strategic buyer and in the transition of a privately held business to an ESOP. Scott received his Bachelor of Arts in accounting from the University of St. Thomas. He holds a Minnesota CPA license (Inactive), is a member of The Minnesota Society of CPA's, The AICPA, Financial Executives Network Group, Omicron Delta Epsilon (Economic Honors Society) and The National Center for Employee Ownership.
Scott resides in Norwood Young America with his wife Jean where they raised 4 children and are fortunate to have 8 grandchildren. Scott enjoys playing tennis, working on their Victorian home, spending time with his family and working on anything cool with a motor. He coached his children's basketball and baseball teams for many years and served on the Norwood City Council, Norwood Planning Commission, The Norwood Young America Merger Finance Committee and Church Council.
