Throughout his career he has assisted company leaders in advancing infrastructure and implementing measurable results within their business. He has a knack for researching with staff to develop more efficient and accountable processes, procedures and polices which ultimately lead to better visibility and improved cash management.
Alex’s industry background includes experience in manufacturing of textiles and steel fabrication products, real estate valuations, banking, agriculture and automotive. After receiving his B.A. in Finance from Wofford College he started his career with Milliken & Company, a large privately owned company with a deep history in the American manufacturing industry. Following time with companies involved with steel processing, real estate and banking, Alex has spent the past 15 years helping run a family-owned franchised automobile dealership. He is also a graduate of the NADA Dealer Candidate Academy Program. He has helped every aspect of the dealership grow in revenue and profitability. In 2023, after helping strategically plan and prepare for the dealership’s future, the team was able to complete a successful sale of the business.
Alex grew up in Kingstree, SC where his family has farmed for generations. This is where he learned the importance of cash management, budgeting and forecasting, business relationships and hard work.
Alex and his wife April reside in Myrtle Beach, SC and have two wonderful boys, Austin and Addison. Alex enjoys spending his spare time in the woods at the family farm with his German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP), Ruger, and watching his boys play baseball at Myrtle Beach High School and Clemson University.
